Federal regulations outlined under the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1985 (COBRA) require businesses employing twenty or more employees to offer covered employees and their dependents the opportunity to continue health care coverage if such coverage is lost due to one or more "qualifying events."

As employee benefit consultants, we understand the complexities involved with COBRA compliance and administration.  Significant liability faces employers in the midst of this ever-changing legislation.
